กค Overview

On Jan 12, 2004, GLORIAD ( Global Ring Network for Advanced Applications Development ) was initialized in Beijing, which is jointly funded by CAS, NSF and CRMSO (the Consortium of Russian Ministries and Science Organizations), driven directly by the requirements from scientists and science applications in China, US and Russia. CSTNET joined in GLORIAD as GLORIAD-CN since then.

GLORIAD is offering strong supports for advanced S&E applications and NGI (Next Generation Internet) research, particularly in High Energy Physics, Astronomy, Atmospheric Sciences, Bioinformatics, optical network research and network security research
